

Carlos Rodriguez is a File Clerk at The Nieves Law Firm whose journey into the legal field is rooted in a passion for equity and community empowerment. Originally from Oakland, California, Carlos witnessed the impact of systemic injustice in his community and was inspired to pursue a path focused on advocacy and access to justice.
Currently completing his B.A. in Psychology with minors in Labor Studies and Chicana/o and Central American Studies at UCLA, Carlos also attends UCLA Extension to earn his Paralegal Certificate, demonstrating his deep commitment to building a long-term legal career. His previous role as Operations Lead at UCLA’s Community Programs Office honed his skills in leadership, problem-solving, and client-centered service.
At The Nieves Law Firm, Carlos brings a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to managing case files, supporting the legal team, and ensuring every client interaction reflects the firm’s values of trust, empathy, and excellence. His experience with student leadership organizations has strengthened his ability to collaborate, adapt, and lead with integrity.
Carlos’s long-term goals include continuing in the legal field and potentially pursuing a Juris Doctorate. Outside of work, he enjoys music, sports, spending time outdoors, and cherishes time with family and friends, which keeps him grounded and motivated on his professional path.
