About Joe Dangtran
Joe Dangtran, Jr. grew up in Tracy, Californi, and ever since a young age, Joe has possessed an intense interest in the idea of equitable distribution of justice in a court of law. This interest soon carried onto his adult years, where he attended California State University, Sacramento and later, Northeastern University seeking a degree in both Criminal Justice as well as Political Science. He graduated from Northeastern in the winter of 2020.
A career in the legal field has been a cornerstone of Joe’s career aspirations and interest. In 2019, Joe worked at the Department of Justice, serving as an intern at the United States Attorney’s Office, District of Massachusetts as well as fulfilling numerous research obligations at the educational institutions that he attended. His primary research focus was the implementation of cost-effective strategies to prevent crime through the intersection of economical and cognitive developmental methods. However, his primary career aspirations remain in the path of a litigator, which he hopes to experience firsthand as a legal assistant at The Nieves Law Firm.
In his free time, Joe enjoys never having to sit still. He is an avid rugby player, having played for the Northeastern University team. His primary sports these days are surfing and skydiving, having accumulated over sixty jumps over the course of his career. He also enjoys playing the piano, reading, and gardening.
