File Clerk Paulina Larrea Egremy is passionate about human rights, something that drew her to the criminal defense field. As a File Clerk at The Nieves Law Firm, she gets to fulfill her passion for human rights by assisting our attorneys in their defense of those accused of crimes. Paulina has always enjoyed taking care of others, and appreciates using her calming presence to help ease the concerns of clients who are caught in the often overwhelming and chaotic criminal justice system. A native of Cabo San Lucas in Mexico, Paulina is fluent in English and Spanish.
Paulina graduated from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) in Mexico City with a bachelor’s degree in International Relations. She also served as the student body president while in college which helped strengthen her leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Paulina also has previous experience working at the University Admissions Office where she organized and handled many different forms of paperwork, something that translates very well to her current position at The Nieves Law Firm. She believes her excellent communication skills and ability to work well under pressure are a byproduct of her previous experience in the customer service industry, where she was often tasked with solving difficult situations in a timely manner.
Outside of work, Paulina is an avid reader and cook. You can often find her curled up with a good book eating her favorite meal – shrimp fettuccine alfredo. She also enjoys spending time with her pets, a yellow lab named Mikel and a black cat named Maggie.
