About Dakota Char-Lee
Dakota grew up in the Bay Area and studied Criminal Justice at Cal State East Bay. She graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Criminal Justice.
She is passionate about helping others and wanted to choose a career which would allow her to do so.
Growing up in the Bay Area, Dakota became inspired by the diversity and inclusivity all around her. This is what propelled her studies into the criminal justice system. She did her undergrad at Cal State East Bay and earned a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice. She wanted to become an advocate for those who are seeking guidance navigating the difficult and trying processes of the legal justice system. She fully believes that people are capable of change and everyone deserves a chance at rectifying their lives. Community outreach is one such way that Dakota feels she can make a difference; she has previously volunteered at Glide church in San Francisco. She is currently attending paralegal certification at Cal State East Bay to further her knowledge and studies into the justice system; and to also continue to join the fight against injustices of all kind.
In her spare time Dakota enjoys activities such as working out, reading, and spending time with her loved ones. Her favorite genre of books are mystery fiction and of course, crime novels.
