About Adriana Yac
Adriana Yac serves as the welcoming face of The Nieves Law Firm, bringing warmth, professionalism, and a multicultural perspective to every client interaction. Born in Arizona and raised in Novato, Adriana’s diverse background is shaped by her time living in Guatemala, where she became conversational in K’iche’, a Mayan dialect. She is fluent in Spanish and passionate about ensuring that language is never a barrier to justice.
Adriana earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Political Science from the University of California, Davis. During her time at UC Davis, she focused on criminal justice and community engagement—values she put into practice through her work with the UC Davis Police Department. There, she took part in community-oriented policing, developed leadership skills, and fostered trust between law enforcement and the community.
Her lived experiences and academic background have inspired a long-term goal of attending law school and becoming a legal advocate for underserved communities. Adriana is particularly committed to supporting individuals who face cultural and linguistic challenges in navigating the legal system. She brings this same spirit of compassion and service to her role as receptionist, helping clients feel heard, respected, and informed from the moment they contact the firm.
