David Ramirez is a Client Intake Specialist at the Nieves Law Firm and a first-generation Mexican American whose pursuit of justice is grounded in lived experience. Growing up, he witnessed how inaccessible and overwhelming the legal system can be for working-class families, particularly immigrants and communities of color. These formative experiences ignited his commitment to dismantling barriers to justice and pursuing a career in law.
David holds an ABA Approved Certificate in Paralegal Studies and is currently completing dual associate degrees in Economics and Paralegal Studies at Merritt College. Fluent in both English and Spanish, David ensures that clients are heard and supported in the language they feel most comfortable speaking.
Empathetic by nature and driven by purpose, David brings clarity, compassion, and professionalism to every interaction. Prior to joining The Nieves Law Firm, he worked in client-facing roles in the telecommunications sector, where he honed his ability to communicate with empathy and navigate complex systems under pressure. His long-term goal is to become an attorney focused on equitable access to justice, particularly in underrepresented communities.

In his free time, David loves diving into legal theory, political history, and community-based economics. He is committed to continuing his pursuit of legal experience and education in hopes of using it to fight for systemic change.
