Our juvenile client was charged with assault with a deadly weapon after accompanying several friends to the home of an individual with whom they allegedly had an ongoing dispute. The prosecution alleged that members of the group attempted to lure the victim outside before shots were fired at the residence, striking windows, a parked vehicle, and other property. Our client was arrested shortly after and faced a strike offense that could have carried significant consequences for his future.
