- Heather graduated with honors from Albion College in Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Political Science, concentrating in Public Service, and earned her Juris Doctor from Indiana University.
- She is a certified mediator and built a distinguished 30-year career as a trial attorney concentrating in criminal law, serving both as private counsel and as a part-time public defender.
- Heather is passionate about helping individuals who have been charged with crimes navigate the legal system successfully so they can regain control of their lives and move forward with confidence.
