About Ebei Oiyemhonlan

Ebei Oiyemhonlan is a recent graduate of San José State University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Justice Studies. Graduating a year early at the age of 20, Ebei has demonstrated a strong commitment to academic excellence and a passion for learning. Her early graduation is a testament to her dedication and drive, setting the stage for a promising career in the legal field.

Ebei brings valuable experience from her role as a Congressional Intern in California’s 17th District, where she helped manage constituent relations and resolved federal agency issues. This role provided her with firsthand experience in navigating the complexities of government operations and addressing the needs of the public. Additionally, her work as an Undergraduate Research Assistant/Fellow with the McNair Scholars Program involved contributing to research on the gentrification of the Black Church, showcasing her dedication to impactful legal and policy studies.

In addition to her academic and professional pursuits, Ebei has honed her skills in customer service at Ashley Furniture Homestores, where she developed strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities. Her leadership skills were further demonstrated through her role as President of the Nigerian Students Association at SJSU, where she fostered community engagement and cultural awareness.

Outside of work, Ebei loves to read and immerse herself in nature through walking, hiking, and playing tennis. She also enjoys spending time with her friends and trying new things, reflecting her well-rounded personality and enthusiasm for life. Ebei’s diverse experiences and unwavering dedication make her a valuable asset to The Nieves Law Firm.
