Fluent in both English and Spanish, Moises is originally from Honduras and holds bachelor’s degrees in Tourism Management and Law. He is a licensed civil and labor attorney in his home country, which provides him with a solid foundation in legal principles and practices. His professional journey reflects a unique blend of customer service expertise and legal acumen, making him a valuable asset to our team.
Before joining The Nieves Law Firm, Moises gained extensive experience working as a customer service representative for several call centers, where he assisted customers with various service needs, including internet speed upgrades, service inquiries, and account management. His role often required him to make outbound calls to secure new clients and accounts, demonstrating his proactive approach and exceptional communication skills. This experience honed his ability to handle complex customer interactions with empathy and efficiency, skills that he now applies to his work with our clients.
Moises began his legal career as a civil clerk, where he gained invaluable experience in case mitigation and litigation. He also has experience as a paralegal and a leading attorney in Honduras. His legal background equips him with the knowledge and insight to understand our clients’ needs and guide them effectively through the legal process.
Outside of his professional life, Moises is a dedicated family man and martial artist. He holds a second-degree black belt in Kyokushin karate and has even served as an instructor, teaching and training in his spare time. His hobbies also include building Gunpla models, reading, playing video games, and enjoying sports such as baseball and football. Moises values quality time with his family, which includes his wife, who is a school principal, and their two children, a nine-year-old son and a ten-month-old daughter.
