Alameda Running Festival
The Nieves Law Firm is thrilled to have been part of the Alameda Running Festival. Thank you to Alameda Meals on Wheels and the Alameda Education Foundation for their efforts to aid community members and K-12 public school students.
Alameda Meals on Wheels has been providing hot, nourishing meals to Alameda residents seven days a week since 1973. Residents that benefit from their services include individuals of all ages, whether they have been through a recent surgery or hospitalization, aren’t able to go to the grocery store or because they cannot cook their own meals.
The Alameda Education Foundation’s motto is “supporting student success,” with the vision of creating excellence in education for students of Alameda public schools. The Alameda Education Foundation (AEF) is made up of parents, educators, business leaders and members of the Alameda community. Since 1982, the AEF has promoted educational opportunities through programs including music, drama, sports, foreign languages, technology, counseling and more.
