Carissa LeSage is an intake coordinator at The Nieves Law Firm, facilitating individuals who contact our firm for legal representation. Carissa is an empathetic listener, and she enjoys helping people who are struggling with legal issues find recourse for their legal problems. She has multiple years of experience working in the legal realm, serving as a legal assistant, an intake specialist, and the manager of intake at multiple law firms throughout the past 4 years. She plans on utilizing her experience to better serve people who contact our firm in need of legal help.
Carissa holds an associate’s degree from Herzing University. Carissa admits that it wasn’t until after college that she began taking an interest in criminal law. It was at this point that she joined the intake staff at a leading criminal defense firm in the Midwest. As she progressed she took on more responsibilities, including managing the intake department. She then accepted a position as a legal assistant at another prevalent law firm in the Midwest, where she further honed her legal research and writing skills.
In her free time, Carissa enjoys doing a variety of outdoor activities. She plays sand volleyball and soccer throughout the entire year. On most weekends, you can find Carissa at the lake camping, boating, or jet skiing with her husband.
