Avik Majumdar

Avik Majumdar earned his B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Portland in 2026, with a major in Operations Technology Management and Political Science, and minors in Constitutional Studies and Entrepreneurship. His studies reflect his interest in systems, advocacy, and the legal principles that shape public life.

Avik is committed to criminal defense and plans to attend law school to become an attorney. While studying in Portland, Oregon, he regularly observed criminal cases in Multnomah County and spoke with public defenders. These experiences deepened his interest in client-focused advocacy and in protecting the rights of people facing the criminal legal system.

Avik also spent four years competing in collegiate mock trials, where he served as his school’s A-team captain, a competitor, and the program president and treasurer. He earned several invitational awards and contributed to his program’s success at both the regional and national levels. Outside of work and preparing for the LSAT, Avik enjoys playing strategy games, watching NBA games, and spending time with family and friends.
